Install Fonts in Ubuntu Linux

To install a font in Ubuntu, simply double click on the font file (either .ttf or .otf).

This will open up a preview of the font. Click on ‘Install’ to install.

That’s it!

You may have to issue this command if fonts do not show up right away for any reason:

sudo fc-cache -f -v
