Starcraft II apparently just works in Linux with wine without a fuss.
I just purchased Starcraft II as a digital download and will report back on a later post.

Well, how’s it going??
Well, getting there. I tried a clean ~/.wine install, latest wine1.3-dev provided by winehq on Ubuntu 10.04, latest Nvidia drivers, and it starts, but is painfully slow at the opening menus. Can’t get into a game just yet, though I’ll mess around with some options and see how it goes.
I did have to install the required winetricks stuff as mentioned here.

Wow, SC2 works in Linux? Cool I wonder if the gfx drivers all work as well.
